Report on Guest Lecture
On November 11, 2025 , Alumni Guest Lecture was organized at Don Bosco Tech jalandhar for the trainees of the IT-CCE course with the objective of providing them with practical exposure and a clear understanding of real workplace environments. The session was conducted by our esteemed alumnus, Mr. Harsh, who successfully completed his training from our Centre and is now working as a Tele Executive at Small Capital Finance Bank. His inspiring journey from being a trainee to becoming a working professional served as strong motivation for the students, encouraging them to focus on consistent skill development and personal growth.
During the lecture, Mr. Harsh shared in-depth insights into the roles and responsibilities of a Tele Executive in the banking sector. He explained how essential skills such as effective customer handling, strong communication abilities, and basic computer knowledge contribute to the efficiency and success of daily tasks. He emphasized that qualities like confidence, patience, and professionalism play a crucial role when interacting with customers over the phone. By sharing real-life experiences from his workplace, he helped the trainees understand how the theoretical knowledge gained during training is applied in real industry scenarios.
In addition, Mr. Harsh guided the students on important aspects of interview preparation, including resume building, presenting oneself confidently, and answering commonly asked questions during bank-related job interviews. He also highlighted the various opportunities available in the private banking sector, explaining potential career growth paths from entry-level positions to more advanced roles.
