Report on Exposure Visit
On November 18, 2024, the Don Bosco Tech Chandigarh center organized a field visit for a group of students under the guidance of center Coordinator Ms. Jayati and E Commerce trainer Ms. Simran. The primary objective of the visit was to provide students with real-world exposure to “HARI OM FASHIONERS” in Sector 23 Chandigarh. This hands-on experience aimed to enhance students' theoretical knowledge by providing practical insights into the HARI OM FASIONERS.
The main objective was to interact with professionals in the field and gain a better understanding of industry practices and enhance problem-solving skills through exposure to live scenarios. Also encourage critical thinking and foster teamwork through group activities and discussions. Ms. Jayati and Miss. Simran provided an overview of the day's itinerary and set expectations for the visit. Students observed key processes and workflows within the Hari Om fashioners under the guidance of professionals. They led the tour, explaining various stages of the process and answering students’ questions. In addition to sharing domain knowledge, Hari Om fashioners conducted an interactive interview session with the trainees, evaluating their understanding and readiness for a career in this field. The session not only tested their knowledge but also emphasized the importance of stability and focus in the industry. The site visit helped them visualize concepts learned in the classroom, making learning more engaging. The Q&A session with industry professionals was insightful, providing them with a better understanding of the skills required for future careers in the field.
The field visit was an enriching experience for all participants, providing students with valuable insights into the practical aspects of their studies. Under the able guidance of trainees, the students gained a deeper understanding of the industry and were able to connect theoretical knowledge with real-world applications.
