On 25 Nov 2025, Don Bosco Tech – Chandigarh organized a field visit for the IT–Customer Care Executive (IT-CCE) students to Raminus Pizza, a popular food outlet known for its quick service and customer-friendly environment. The main objective of this visit was to give students practical exposure to the daily operations of a service-based business and help them understand how customer service standards are maintained in the food industry.
Upon arrival, the students were warmly welcomed by the store staff. They provided a detailed orientation on the functioning of the outlet, which included order taking, billing procedures, kitchen workflow, inventory handling, and delivery management. Students observed how the team ensures hygiene, speed, and accuracy while preparing and serving food. This helped them understand the importance of maintaining quality and efficiency in customer-centric businesses.
The staff also conducted a short interactive session on customer handling skills. They highlighted important aspects such as communicating politely, understanding customer needs, managing complaints, and keeping a positive attitude during rush hours. Real-life examples were shared to help students understand how to deal with difficult customers and maintain professionalism in all situations. Students also gained insights into teamwork and coordination, observing how different roles—cashier, chefs, delivery executives, and supervisors—work together to meet customer expectations. They actively asked questions related to service challenges, food safety, and customer behavior.
Overall, the visit to Raminus Pizza was highly informative and beneficial. Students expressed that the experience enhanced their understanding of customer service, workplace discipline, and professional behavior. They appreciated Don Bosco Tech for arranging such a valuable learning opportunity and requested more field visits in the future.
