On 14th August 2025, Don Bosco Tech, Chandigarh, celebrated Independence Day with great excitement and national pride. The celebration brought together students, trainers, and staff in a cheerful atmosphere filled with the spirit of freedom.

The program started with a short introduction about the importance of Independence Day. Everyone was reminded of the struggles and sacrifices of our freedom fighters who gave India its hard-earned freedom. Students then took part in different fun and meaningful activities.One of the main highlights was a painting competition, where students showed their love for the country through beautiful drawings. Their paintings included freedom fighters, national symbols, and dreams of a strong and united India. Along with this, students also took part in flag-making, creating tricolour flags with paper and other materials. These flags brought colour and excitement to the celebration and showed the creativity of the students. Another interesting part of the program was when students came forward to share their thoughts on why we celebrate Independence Day. Through their short talks and stories, they showed how much they understood the value of freedom and the role of unity and equality in building the nation. Listening to their ideas was inspiring for everyone present.

The event was not only enjoyable but also educational. Students understood that Independence Day is not just a holiday, but a reminder of our duty to live with peace, harmony, and respect for our country’s democratic values. The celebration ended with a salute to the national flag and the singing of the national anthem. The happiness and pride on the faces of the students made the event memorable.
