Don Bosco Tech, Chandigarh, organized an insightful guest lecture for the E-Commerce Executive students on 10 July 2026. The session was conducted by Ms. Revati, Lecturer, Department of Commerce, Government College, who shared her valuable knowledge and practical insights on online business start-ups and entrepreneurship. The lecture focused on the fundamentals of starting an online business, including how to identify a business idea, conduct market research, prepare a business plan, select the right online platform, and understand customer requirements. Ms. Revati also explained the various stages involved in establishing and managing an online business successfully. She highlighted the importance of planning, branding, digital marketing, customer service, financial management, and continuous innovation for long-term business growth. During the interactive session, students actively participated by asking questions related to e-commerce business models, online selling platforms, and the challenges faced by start-ups. The practical examples and real-world case studies shared by the speaker helped students gain a better understanding of how online businesses operate and succeed in today's digital marketplace. The guest lecture was organized under the guidance of Ms. Simran, E-Commerce Trainer, and Mrs. Jayati Kakkar, Centre Coordinator, who encouraged students to explore entrepreneurial opportunities and develop the skills required to become successful business owners.
