From 01 to 20 March 2026, Don Bosco Tech Society marked a remarkable milestone of 20 Years of Empowering Youth through a series of impactful and vibrant celebrations across its Chandigarh and Jalandhar centres. These events reflected the organization’s enduring commitment to skill development, social responsibility, and holistic student growth, creating a meaningful connection between past achievements and future aspirations.

At the Chandigarh Centre, the celebrations unfolded through a variety of thoughtfully curated pre-event activities that engaged students on multiple levels. The Alumni Contest Video stood out as a powerful storytelling platform, where former trainees shared their journeys of transformation, inspiring current students with real-life examples of perseverance and success. Outreach initiatives such as the Awareness and Mobilization Drive extended the impact beyond the campus, spreading awareness about skill training opportunities among local communities.

Student engagement remained at the heart of the celebrations, with activities like Clean and Green Campus initiatives, cultural song performances, DB Tech Quiz Week, and the Skill Champion Contest encouraging creativity, participation, and knowledge-building. The Mini Career Fair provided valuable industry exposure, allowing trainees to interact with professionals and gain insights into career pathways. Environmental consciousness was reinforced through tree plantation drives, while the Walkathon brought attention to health, fitness, and the importance of a drug-free lifestyle, creating a well-rounded and socially relevant experience.

At the Jalandhar Centre, the celebrations were conducted on a grand scale, reflecting the significance of the occasion. The launch of the DBT20 logo symbolized two decades of dedication toward empowering youth through skill-based education. One of the most impactful highlights was the “20 Stories of Change” initiative, where inspiring journeys of alumni and beneficiaries were shared, showcasing the transformative power of skill training.

Creativity and self-expression found a unique platform through the DB Tech Story Wall, where students visually narrated their experiences and aspirations. The Mini Career Fair once again bridged the gap between training and employment, connecting students with industry expectations. Activities such as the Walkathon and Community Fitness Awareness Day emphasized health, unity, and social responsibility.

A special Trainer Recognition Day honored the dedication and efforts of educators who have played a crucial role in shaping the lives and careers of countless students. Environmental sustainability was symbolized through the DB Tech Tree initiative, where 20 trees were planted, representing growth, resilience, and the journey of the institution.

The celebrations also featured a Cultural Fest and Poster Making Competition centered on the theme “20 Years of Empowering Youth,” highlighting the artistic talents and perspectives of students. Intellectual engagement was further strengthened through DB Tech Quiz Week, while the 20 Years Photos and Videos Exhibition offered a visual narrative of the organization’s achievements, creating a deep sense of pride and belonging.

Activities like DB Tech Force and Funday added moments of joy and bonding, reinforcing teamwork and camaraderie among participants. The celebrations culminated in a Grand Centre Celebration, bringing together students, trainers, alumni, and community members in a shared acknowledgment of the journey and impact of Don Bosco Tech Society.

The DBT20 celebrations at Chandigarh and Jalandhar were more than a series of events; they were a reflection of transformation, resilience, and hope. They celebrated not only the milestones achieved over two decades but also the countless lives empowered along the way, leaving a lasting impression and reaffirming the organization’s vision of building skilled, confident, and socially responsible youth for the future.
