A Parent-Teacher Meeting (PTM) was conducted at Don Bosco Tech, Chandigarh, on 18 May 2026 to create awareness among parents about the skill development courses offered to students. During the meeting, parents were informed about the IT Customer Care Executive and E-Commerce Executive courses conducted by Don Bosco Tech, Chandigarh. The trainers and centre staff explained the importance of skill development in today’s competitive job market and highlighted how these courses help students improve their communication skills, computer knowledge, customer handling abilities, and professional behavior.
The trainers and staff also explained the various benefits of these courses, including skill enhancement, improved communication skills, computer proficiency, customer service skills, and increased employment opportunities. Parents were informed that Don Bosco Tech provides stationery and study materials free of cost to all enrolled students. Upon successful completion of the training, students receive certificates approved by NSDC and Skill India, which are recognized across India.
It was further highlighted that the organization conducts placement drives and interviews for students after the completion of training and provides job placement support to help them begin their careers successfully. Parents appreciated this initiative, as it offers valuable career opportunities without placing a financial burden on families. Such free skill development programs play a significant role in reducing unemployment and creating a skilled workforce. The awareness session was highly informative, motivating, and well received by the participants.
The PTM successfully created awareness among parents regarding the opportunities available through Don Bosco Tech courses. Parents gained a better understanding of the importance of vocational training and employment-oriented education. The meeting helped build trust, confidence, and motivation among both parents and students regarding skill development and future employment opportunities.
