On 19th August 2025, Don Bosco Tech Society organized a health check-up camp for the students of Don Bosco Tech, Chandigarh. The program was held at the premises of Don Bosco Navjeevan Society and was aimed at promoting the well-being of students and encouraging them to adopt healthy lifestyles during their training period. The health check-up was conducted for both the E-Commerce Executive batch and the IT–Customer Care Executive batch. The camp was facilitated under the guidance of Mrs. Manpreet Kaur, State Coordinator of Don Bosco Tech, who ensured smooth organization and active participation from students. The medical team included Dr. Price Raj Kumar and Nurse Nitu Sharma from the Health Department of Don Bosco Navjeevan Society. They carried out detailed health assessments of the students, checking vital signs such as blood pressure, weight, and overall physical fitness. The students were provided with medicines wherever minor health issues were identified. Nurse Nitu Sharma also guided students on the importance of maintaining personal hygiene, balanced nutrition, and regular exercise. Apart from treatment, the medical experts gave valuable recommendations to the students regarding preventive healthcare and lifestyle improvements. They emphasized the need for students to remain mindful of their health while pursuing their skill development training, as good health is directly connected with effective learning and productivity. The camp saw enthusiastic participation from all the students, who expressed gratitude for the care and concern shown by the organizers. This initiative reflected Don Bosco Tech’s commitment not only to the academic and skill growth of students but also to their holistic development, which includes physical and mental well-being. The event concluded with appreciation for the efforts of Dr. Raj Kumar, Nurse Nitu Sharma, and the Health Department team.
