Report On Parent-Teacher Meeting
Don Bosco Tech Society, Chandigarh, successfully organized a meaningful Parent-Teacher Meeting (PTM) on November 14, 2024, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, specifically for trainees enrolled in the E-commerce domain. The event served as a valuable platform for open dialogue and collaboration, with 16 dedicated parents actively participating in discussions focused on their children's academic progress and overall development.
One of the highlights of the meeting was a parent’s enthusiastic feedback, commending the Society's effective academic management and the noticeable improvement in student performance. This feedback reflected the positive impact of the institution’s educational strategies and its commitment to quality learning. The meeting addressed key areas such as trainees' proficiency in navigating the Learning Management System (LMS), maintaining classroom discipline, and ensuring consistent attendance. These discussions highlighted the shared dedication of both parents and faculty to fostering not only academic achievement but also responsible behavior and personal growth among students. The involvement of faculty coordinators and trainers—Ms. Jayati Kakkar, Ms. Simran, and Mr. Ashish—played a significant role in building parental confidence. Their efforts in aligning academic schedules and offering ongoing support underscored the institution’s commitment to transparency and student welfare. A major focus was also placed on strengthening communication between faculty, departments, and families. Establishing clear and empathetic communication channels was seen as essential to creating a supportive environment capable of addressing academic or personal challenges effectively.
In conclusion, the PTM reinforced the shared responsibility of parents and educators in guiding trainees toward success. The event was a productive step toward strengthening the partnership between home and institution, emphasizing holistic development and ensuring a bright and promising future for all students involved.
