Report on the Parent-Teacher Meeting
On 06 June 2024, Don Bosco Tech, Chandigarh organized a Parent-Teacher Meeting for both training domains: Customer Care Executive (Domestic – Non-Voice) and E-commerce Executive. The session began with a warm welcome extended to all the attending parents, and the agenda was clearly outlined, focusing on class schedules and student performance.
Parents were informed about the meeting well in advance through official student groups by the class teachers. A total of 30 parents participated in the session, which aimed to foster interaction between parents, trainees, and trainers. Discussions covered various aspects such as trainee performance, classroom discipline, and class timings. Overall, parents expressed satisfaction with the quality of education and the progress of their children. One parent inquired about the placement opportunities available for their ward.The meeting was led by faculty coordinator Ms. Jayati Kakkar, along with Mr. Ashish, the Customer Care Executive (Domestic – Non-Voice) trainer, and Mr. Puneet, the E-commerce Executive trainer. They elaborated on the academic calendar and batch completion dates. Mr. Puneet also emphasized that both students and parents are welcome to reach out to the faculty or the department at any time for support. The trainers also introduced the Learning Management System (LMS), which the department plans to discuss further with parents.
The meeting served as a platform for evaluating the trainees’ academic performance, health, and overall progress. Both teachers and parents shared feedback and discussed strategies to support student development. The session concluded with the shared understanding that student success relies on strong collaboration, mutual trust, and consistent communication between parents and educators.
