Inauguration Ceremony of Batch-5 Housekeeping Assistant (Skill to Succeed 25-26)

On January 16, 2025, Don Bosco Tech Thakurmunda organized the inauguration ceremony of the Housekeeping Assistant Batch–5. The programme began with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp, symbolizing the journey from darkness to light.
The event was graced by Mr. Sarat Chandra Tripathy, Centre Head, Mr. Jogendra Patra, Reporter from Sambad newspaper, and Mr. Satyajit Das, Domain Trainer. All dignitaries joined the trainees in marking this special occasion.
In his address, Mr. Tripathy spoke about the importance of housekeeping in the hospitality industry. He explained that housekeeping is not only about cleanliness but also about care, comfort, and creating a pleasant experience for guests.
Mr. Patra encouraged the trainees and highlighted the importance of housekeeping training for new learners in the skill sector. He explained that good housekeeping helps prevent accidents, improves safety, increases work efficiency, and maintains quality standards. He also spoke about proper handling and maintenance of tools and equipment, which helps in professional growth. He shared that housekeeping offers good career opportunities, job security, and chances for employment in India and abroad.
Mr. Satyajit Das thanked everyone present and motivated the trainees to stay focused, practice regularly, and pay attention to small details, which are very important in the hospitality industry.
