Don Bosco Tech Society, Thakurmunda Centre organized an exposure visit to the Thakurmunda Electrical Substation for the trainees of Batch-2 (Electrician Domestic Solutions) on August 11, 2025. The visit aimed to provide trainees with practical, real-world exposure to Electrician Domestic Solutions, complementing their classroom training under the Skill to Succeed 2025-26 Programme.

Skill development trainees from the Electrician Domestic Solutions course, along with Domain Trainer Mr. Abhimanyu Behera and Centre Coordinator Mr. Jagadisha Prasad Swain, participated in the visit. Mr. Jyoti Prakash Panda, Engineer at the Thakurmunda Substation, guided and assisted the students during the visit.

Exposure visits are an essential part of skill development and practical learning because they help students connect classroom knowledge with real-world applications. During the visit, students observed actual tools, techniques, and processes in action, making theoretical concepts easier to understand. They learned about how the industry operates, the standards followed, and the latest trends.
