Inauguration Ceremony of Batch-1 House keeping Assistant (Learning to Earning 26-27))

On May 20, 2026, Don Bosco Tech Thakurmunda organized the inauguration ceremony of Housekeeping Assistant Batch–1. The programme began with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp, symbolizing the journey from darkness to light.
The event was graced by Mr. Radheshyam Mohanta, Coordinator of Rural Research and Development Organization (RRDO), along with Mr. Abhimanyu Behera, Ms. Golap Behera, and Mr. Satyajit Das, Domain Trainer. All the dignitaries joined the trainees in marking this special occasion.
In his address, Mr. Mohanta spoke about the importance of housekeeping in the hospitality industry. He explained that housekeeping is not only about cleanliness but also about care, comfort, and creating a pleasant experience for guests.
Mr. Satyajit Das encouraged the trainees and highlighted the importance of housekeeping training for new learners in the skill sector. He explained that good housekeeping practices help prevent accidents, improve safety, increase work efficiency, and maintain quality standards. He also emphasized the importance of proper handling and maintenance of tools and equipment, which contributes to professional growth. Furthermore, he shared that the housekeeping sector offers good career opportunities, job security, and employment prospects both in India and abroad.
Mr. Abhimanyu Behera thanked everyone present and motivated the trainees to remain focused, practice regularly, and pay attention to small details, which are highly important in the hospitality industry.
