On February 20, 2026, Don Bosco Tech Society, Thakurmunda Centre, launched the 2nd batch of its “Skills to Succeed” 2025–26 program under the Electrician Domestic Solutions (EDS) job role. The program aims to create sustainable employment opportunities in India’s service sector.

The inauguration ceremony began with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp, symbolizing the start of a new learning journey. The event was graced by Centre Head Mr. Sarat Chandra Tripathy; Chief Guest Mr. N. K. Basir Ali, Retired Headmaster of Talapada High School; Domain Trainer Mr. Abhimanyu Behera; and Field Officer Mrs. Golapa Behera.

In his address, Chief Guest Mr. Ali appreciated the efforts of Don Bosco Tech Society in empowering rural youth through skill development. He encouraged the trainees to remain disciplined, work hard, and make the best use of the training opportunity.

Mr. Tripathy highlighted the scope of the Electrician Domestic Solutions trade, emphasizing the growing demand for skilled technicians in installation, maintenance, and repair of household electrical appliances and systems. He noted that the course offers strong career and self-employment opportunities.

Mr. Abhimanyu Behera briefly explained the importance of domestic electrical solutions in daily life, focusing on time-saving, energy efficiency, convenience, safety, and improved quality of life. He also encouraged trainees to actively participate in the hands-on training approach.

The program concluded with a vote of thanks by Mrs. Golapa Behera, who wished the trainees success in their journey toward a brighter future in the electrical service industry.
